scholastic books

Have you ever heard of the scholastic warehouse sale? I went and it was PHENOMENAL!! everything was at least 50% off and I got some killer deals! I went to round out my leveled library, and found more than enough to fill it up! Scholastic has always been my favorite place to find inexpensive classroom books, but this sale takes the cake!!

Best part? With the sale prices and the 25$ fast pass coupon, I only spent $165!! Sounds like a lot, but here's a glimpse into SOME of the books I got! :)

Now i'm busy labeling and covering them all, not as fun of a job! :)

I LOVE Scholastic's Warehouse Sales! I've been going for about 2 years now and it has really helped me stock up my classroom library! Wish they were held more often.... well, maybe not, I spend too much!

I love Scholastic warehouse sales. Did you know that you can work them and get paid in books? I did it a few summers ago. I worked for an afternoon and came home with tons and tons of books. It wasn't hard at all - I just went around and talked with other teachers there and put out books when the shelf was empty. Well worth it!!

I have a question. What do you use to cover your books? I'm guessing clear contact paper? Looks like you had fun at the sale!

Exactly! I have been using the big rolls of contact paper, which I then cut out and cover with enough to fold inside the ends. It's working so far, let's hope they hold up! I'm always so sad when the books get ripped up (oh 5 year olds...haha)
